Unheard Voices Launches a New Series of Hard-Hitting Poetry

Unheard Voices is excited to announce its new series: Ugly Glory. The series consists of four books of poetry and poetic prose, written in “dirty realism” style, giving insights into the authors’ personal experiences of life as people who are or were homeless.

The four books are:

Inside City Lights by The Homeless Poet (AKA Jason Electricity)
Pieces of me everywhere by Denise Harrison
She Speaks Ugly by Akilah Balogun
Survival on Tap by Chris Statham

All four authors will be at the Herts Book Festival on Saturday 17th May 2025 to speak about, read from and sell signed copies of their work. There will be also be a discussion about the genre of dirty realism. See http://hertsbookfestival.org/
